Frostrail is an upcoming Unreal Engine 5 survival FPS from FakeFish, the studio behind Barotrauma, published by Shiro Unlimited. You ride a steam-powered train across a frozen empire, fuel the Eden Engine, scavenge ruins, and fight Revenants solo or in online co-op for crews of 1–4. Early Access is planned for Q4 2026 on Steam. Start with the Getting Started guide, learn the core loop, then check closed beta access and the weapon tier list.

Request access on the Steam page. Anyone who signed up for an earlier playtest is already considered. Accepted players can invite up to three Steam friends, and those friends can invite three more. Full steps live on closed beta.
Both. The game is built for crews of 1–4 with online co-op. You can run the pilgrimage solo. Local split-screen is not the advertised mode. See how to play and co-op.

English, French, German, and Spanish. Steam also lists Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, and Simplified Chinese; this wiki skips those last two by design and did not add a fifth locale.
No. Lists on this wiki are built from official interviews, trailers, and playtest footage. Early Access will reshuffle guns and Relics. Treat the weapon tier list as a starting map, not a patch bible.
